Borderlands 2 has got all the hype, but The Pre-Sequel? It’s the weird and underrated middle child that gets some cool stuff done. This is the game for you if you want an insight into how Handsome Jack went from “kinda funny corporate guy” to “full-blown psychopath.”
The big twist? You are on a moon planet, so the gravity is all messed up. Jumping feels floaty, while slamming down crushes enemies, so mid-air gunfights with opposing forces become manic chaos. Plus, laser guns and cryo weapons just work as awesome changes to the usual Borderlands formula.
Reasons to Play
Low-gravity gunfights: Shootouts feel fresh when you’re bouncing around like a maniac.
New playable characters: Including a freaking Claptrap with randomized abilities. Yes, it’s as ridiculous as it sounds.
Jack’s origin story: Watching him slide into villainy adds some depth for Borderlands 2.
Oxygen mechanics: Sure, you need air to breathe, but it’s not annoying, just adds a little survival flavor. You may also be interested in: Life is Strange: Double Exposure Free Download (v1.1.1027899)

Is it as good as Borderlands 2? Nah. But it is nonetheless fun, more so if you’re into the lore or just want some zero-G chaos. Also, playing as Claptrap is an example of the sort of simply pointless fun that every game could use more of.
