Backrooms Bodycam drops you into that eerie, endless maze we’ve all seen in creepy internet lore. It can’t be considered a shooter, it’s a survival horror experience that feels as if you were trapped in those yellow-walled nightmares. Your goal? Simple: don’t die, and find the exit. Easier said than done when shadowy creatures are hunting you through corridors that shouldn’t exist.
What I dig about this game is how it nails that unsettling “found footage” vibe. The bodycam perspective makes everything feel more real and immediate. When you hear something shuffling around the corner, your pulse spikes. You’ve got weapons, rifles, shotguns, even grenades, but ammo’s limited, so you can’t just blast your way through.
Survive the Backrooms
The weapon mod system is a nice thing. Flashlight attached to your pistol when exploring dark places, or add a little laser sight when you know something is about to go down. But to be honest, no matter how armed one is, the Backrooms always have that dread in them. The levels (with names like “Pipes Dreams” and “Level !”) are constructed to mess with your mind.
