Alters is an adventurous survival game set in outer space. You are Jan Dolski, the last living being after your spaceship crashed on a dangerous alien planet. With no other crew member left, you must find a way to survive with the means of an experimental material called Rapidium.
This particular material allows for the creation of alternate versions of yourself Alters each representing a different path you might have traveled. Each Alter has its own personality, skills, and memories derived from major moments of Jan’s past.
Your job is to:
- Keep your mobile base operational
- Search on the inhospitable planet for resources
- Balance relationships between your various Alters
- Make vetoing decisions that directly affect your survival
The surface of the planet was dangerous with things like strange anomalies or deadly solar radiation. You need to plan your expedition, taking into consideration options against the most hazardous conditions that will arise during the day.
While back at base camp, there are some “what if” scenarios related to Jan’s past to explore through the quantum computer. Each time a new Alter comes into existence, the group dynamics will change somewhat; some will be helpful, others might become antagonistic to your mission.
