There was this one time when I started playing STEINS;GATE, and I could say it was never like any other game I had played in my lifetime. It follows the tangential adventures of Rintaro with his conscientious friends, a bunch of geeks all into technical ways of sending messages, some years back, using an altered microwave. Soon, this fun experiment turns into something dangerous as it unravels a conspiracy with mentions of SERN covered with shadows and a traveler of time known as John Titor. Choice-making can either change an outcome, so it makes one really think before making any choice.
The phone trigger system most lured me into the game. Every possible thing-from replying or ignoring calls, sending or receiving emails, all has a slight effect on what happens in that particular section. There were also other chapters I replayed to find out how those endings were different, and that really made it feel personal within the game.

Why Play STEINS;GATE
This game is a masterpiece if you are someone who loves interactive stories and time travel at the same time. I enjoyed trying out different options and watching how they changed the storyline. The suspense, the mystery, and the unique phone system make this one of the best visual novels I have ever experienced.
