Your aunt has handed you the only supermarket in the town, Discounty. The beginning is just about setting up items in the store, stocking shelves, and being on cash. Later on, you start realizing that the way you design your shop and build relationships with people matters. I recall moving the snacks closer to the checkout, and suddenly sales jumped up. It gave me the same kind of small satisfaction when you try a life hack and it works.
Life in Blomkest
The best part is roaming about town after the store closes. Characters you meet will have very different attitudes. Some will support you; others seem to derive pleasure from making your life tough. I personally enjoyed some gossiping with the local townsman who hinted about secrets in town. Those little side moments are what make the game so much more than a money-making machine.

There’s a lot of freedom in the decor arrangement. Expand those aisles and add decorations; anything goes! Reactions to how your decor evolves feel organic. Once, I lost a regular customer because I ignored his specific requests, and that felt like a real-world consequence. That is quite the leap from your typical management sim.
