About the Game
They really took the street racing saga in a different direction with Need for Speed ProStreet this time. This is like one game that has completely removed cops chasing you around the city at night in illegal races. It’s all about organized events and official races.
And feeling that difference when I was playing ProStreet on my old Pentium 4 was the first thing to notice. Cars were heavy to handle, and one small mistake could cost the whole race. Crashing into a barrier with my car while in Speed Challenge mode and then witnessing it flip over in slow motion stayed with me because none of the other NFS felt that real at the time.
This version, v1.1, comes pre-installed, and therefore, improvements have been made, so you can go directly into the play.
Features
There is realistic racing physics.
Driving is more grounded. Cars are weighed, and damage really matters in races.
Four racing styles are available.
The game has Drag, Drift, Grip, and Speed Challenge. My favorite was Drag racing because getting the perfect launch and gear shift was super satisfying.
Car damage system.
Marks happen from every accident: dents, scratches, broken parts; they all show the consequence of a hard race.
Tuning and customization.
You can tune body parts, have performance upgrades, and view real-time results through Autosculpt.

Personal Thoughts
This was what I thought would interest Developments in the series for Need for Speed. It was tougher, less arcade, and made me respect every corner. There used to be hours spent tuning my Supra just for Drift races and trying to get it perfect between grip and slide. Most frustrating at times, but then pulling off a perfect drift felt rewarding.
Where, according to all other NFS games, ProStreet stands for more discipline than chaos. In short, if you enjoy racing with real consequences, then this is indeed one title you would never want to miss out on.
