I remember when I first played Hollow Knight, and although I lost so many times in the tunnels, it was that kind of game that really drew me in. Now with Hollow Knight Silksong, the feeling of epicness grows even larger. Instead of the old kingdom, this game takes us to Pharloom, that new land filled with cities, caves, and secrets. This time, you play as Hornet, and her fighting style is quite a bit faster and sharper than that of the Knight.
I downloaded it and started playing right away. The author made it quite easy to see a difference immediately. The free version of Hollow Knight Silksong provided the full adventure for me. Bosses here are no jokers. Some of the battles had me throwing my controller on the table, but when you win, boy, does it feel good.

My Experience
At first, I kept dying to a lot of the little enemies, which was frustrating. Played through a few more sessions, learning to get used to Hornet’s speed. After losing to one of the big bosses more than eight times, I finally beat it once. Pure relief, man. Every fight has this unique quality as one learns more about timing and patience.
Gameplay and Story of Hollow Knight Silksong
Continuing from Hollow Knight, the focus here shifts largely to Hornet’s past. The game masterfully mixes platforming, exploration, and combat in a way that keeps you on a hook. Pharloom itself becomes a character, with dark, hidden corners and secrets everywhere. If hard fights mixed with the joy of exploration excite you, this sequel will surely pack a punch.
