The Dying Light-Hood: The Beast, a survival horror game, must be worth a look if you love playing such games set on large open maps. In this game, you have the man Kyle Crane as the protagonist, who went through agonizing experiments at the hands of the Baron. Those years of torture mixed zombie DNA with his own. After the escape, he is now half-human, half-beast. The fight is not just with undead souls outside, but also with the monster growing within him.
When I played for the first time, I felt the classic transitions between man and beast. It was not just about hammering zombies but more so about handling that untamed power within. I felt, at times, that I lost control, hence making the combat flooded with more excitement and fun.
The entry to Castor Woods is where the game starts for real. Zombies are plentiful, and the woods feel unsafe at all times. But when the sun sets, it gets serious. Nights in Dying Light: The Beast are no joke. There were times when I was just running for my life because fighting wasn’t even an option sometimes. Hiding became the only option till daylight.
What I like is how you can switch between two playstyles-you can fight like a man or go beast. Smacking down enemies, cutting through crowds, and going wild on brutal moves feel so much different than just the classic Dying Light style.
The day-night cycle is one of the coolest features. Daytime is for searching, looting, and exploring, but the ever-present tension is knowing that night will fall. When it does, you only have the options: Run, Hide, or Face the nightmare.

Why Should You Play Dying Light: The Beast
You’re playing as Kyle Crane with some mixed-human and zombie DNA.
You can freely switch back and forth between man/beast powers.
Brutal combat with some insane finishers.
It feels different and challenging with survival during the day and night.
Co-op is more fun with friends.
