Killing Floor 2 is one of those games that totally throws you right into the maelstrom. The story picks up just one month after the original Killing Floor. With Horzine Biotech’s botched experiment having spilled all across Europe, this time, the outbreak’s effects were felt continent-wide. The infection is wreaking havoc; cities lie in ruins, and the government has fallen apart. There is no communication with armies that have been laid to waste by the outbreak. By the time I set foot to play, I felt like everything around me was collapsing while I was just trying to survive wave after wave.
Most of the folks in Europe are hiding and praying to stay alive, but not everyone has given up. Some survivors and hired guns have banded together to fight back. They created their secret bases in different parts of Europe, from where they march out whenever a new outbreak surfaces. The gameplay makes you feel as if you were plunged right in the middle of it all, with Zeds eager to feast on you.
Gameplay Experience
Intense Gore: Killing Floor 2 is notorious for blood and gore. The game has a crazy bloody system that brutalizes every fight. Limbs fly, blood splashes everywhere, and enemies break into pieces. The first time I saw the effects, I actually had to pause the game because it looked so real.
Multiplayer and Solo: You can join forces with 6 players online or play by yourself if you dare. I most often played with friends since it became scary going solo with Zeds coming in from every direction.

Why Try Killing Floor 2
If you enjoy co-op shooters with horror themes, this game is a must-download. It mixes survival with continuous action. For me, playing with friends made the game that much better because it is mainly the co-op experience that prolongs your life in Killing Floor 2. Even with your friends dead, everyone is just laughing their heads off; bail back in for another round.
