I’ve got nothing for Battlefield Hardline, but I played the game. This game sounds unlikely at first, but honestly, it’s different. I feel this is not the usual military-type Battlefield game. You rob the loot and make a great escape before cops shut you down. That whole rush of racing through the city, sirens blaring behind you, is extraordinary.
The game counts strategy, speed, and story. Basically, go balls-out at full-speed action, or pick it as a lightsider and move smartly. I like how it brings fast driving, shooting, and teamwork together, really.
Because it just felt like one of those TV crime peep shows when I was playing the one-player campaign. You are through the cop’s life arc as detective Nick Mendoza. All that drama and action that you expect from a cop story gets rolled out. Solid-cut scenes and voice acting keep you riveted right up until the end.
And then you head into multiplayer mode, and it gets downright insane. Picture a 64-player server where half the people are cops, and the other half are criminals. With that premise in place, you chase, shoot, crash cars, and attempt to pull off stunts. The best part about it is that it still has that Battlefield feel to it, but with a twist.
The Ultimate Edition is everything-all expansions: Criminal Activity, Robbery, Getaway, and Betrayal. Each comes with new maps, modes, and gear additions.
It also features the Battlefield Hardline Premium Membership, which comes with cool bonuses such as Gold Battlepacks, prioritization in server queues, and exclusive events.
The Digital Deluxe version gives you some wonderful extra packs like Versatility, Precision, and Suppression Battlepacks. These consist of XP boosters, new weapon assignments, and customization items. If you want to unlock most things without much grinding, it’s super fun.
It’s one of those great games to play with friends, to be honest. We used to prepare heists and setups, debating over who would drive and who was getting the cash. Sometimes they catch you even before you leave the bank, which is pretty much what makes it exciting.
