A little Corners free download is a smart casual game with tiny rooms filled with stickers. It reminded me of those old sticker books I loved as a kid. Just ripping off random stickers and sticking them anywhere to see how it looked: that was the old feeling I got when I first tried out this game. In a gloriously simple way, it was slow and kind of relaxing.
Starting with a blank space, the game allows you to sit and slowly build whatever your heart desires creatively. There are just too many stickers to choose from, and I sometimes get confused over what to pick. Some days I place random furniture, either way; I throw in stickers of tiny animals and objects such as mugs and plants, signs, and anything else that looks cute. Putting on my headphones and playing the lo-fi game music just calms my spirit more. Sometimes in the night, I play it when I do not want to think so much.
The game has eight little corners, each functioning as a miniature world. One looks like an adventurer’s tavern. Another is perhaps the tower of an alchemist. A strict sea captain’s room would be my guess, given the items strewn about. Every time I start rearranging things, I keep finding new little hidden stickers. There is some charm in never knowing which new sticker will pop out and how it might redefine the room.
Sometimes I test out combinations for the fun of it. Like mixing weird items just to see what happens. I once put together some book stickers with a weird potion sticker, which unlocked another sticker. It was a small thing, but it was fun for me. It feels like an experiment, but without the pressure.
It gives a few neat basic settings just to help you make your game comfortable. You can change the cursor size and transparency to give a cleaner view. There are a couple of basic audio options, too. One of my favorites? Changing the working space background. I made mine a soft green mat that looks calm for my eyes.
One cute thing about the game is that, after you complete your little design, you can take a photo using the in-game screenshot tool. I’ve used it a couple of times to send my room designs to my friend. He said my room looked like a mix of chaos and cuteness. He was probably right. It still felt nice to save my creation.
For much less of a stress-causing game where one can just chill and put down stickers, this game is a good pick. Nothing intense. Just you, small objects, and slow music. You may also be interested in: News Tower Free Download (v1.0.255) for Windows PC
