Abyssus is a multiplayer shooting game where you and your friends dive deep into dangerous underwater ruins. Every level is made by hand, filled with enemies and traps that test how well you can think and react. The game follows a roguelite style, so no two runs are ever the same.
The story takes place in a world powered by brine, a rare material found far below the surface of the sea. You join a crew of brinepunk explorers sent to collect a massive brine deposit under an ancient sunken city. But things go wrong when corrupted creatures from the lost kingdom rise up to stop you.
I played it with a couple of friends and found out fast that Abyssus is not a game you can win by rushing ahead alone. You have to work as a team. Choosing the right skills, suits, and weapon mods makes a huge difference. If your loadouts don’t work together, the enemies will quickly overwhelm you.
The game has 8 main weapons and 45 mods you can mix to change how they work. You can also add powers from ancient gods, giving your attacks extra effects. As you keep playing, you unlock more upgrades and options, but you still need good aim, smart movement, and proper positioning to survive. It is fast, intense, and rewarding when your team clicks.
