It seems like the Battlefield 6 spirit has somehow preserved and regenerated the very basic essence of great fun in Battlefield games. The game starts with giving you this heavy all-out war feeling; one moment you’re running through gunfire with your squad, the next moment you look up and there’s a jet screaming overhead. The almost complete destructibility of the environment gives a good view when forcing enemies out of position.
The first match after school was just a sample; I stayed in way longer than I planned. The close quarters versus crazy vehicles kept sucking me back in. It felt a lot like some of the older Battlefield titles I had played long ago at a friend’s house.
Return to the Battlefield Classics
This game is bringing back the big infantry fights and the big tank, jet, and helicopter battles. The maps break and become altered throughout the firefights, breaking up the monotony of the combat.
Classic Class System
You have four classes: Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon. It is simpler and more natural to play, especially with you knowing exactly what each class should do.
Kinesthetic Combat System
This new system allows you more freedom in movement: peeking around corners, hanging onto moving vehicles, or dragging a buddy to safety before getting him back on his feet. One time, I tried pulling my teammate behind a wall, and I honestly felt like a hero, though sadly for us both, we died a few seconds later.
Game Modes
Modes like Conquest, Breakthrough, and Rush will feel familiar. A new mode, Escalation, tightens the battlefield as the round progresses. It might get pretty intense when everyone is squeezed into one area.
RedSec Battle Royale
A separate free battle royale called RedSec. Inside it, a ring of fire instantly knocks you if caught in it. The missions inside the match allow you to get upgraded loot, which makes the clashes even more fun.
Maps
Nine different maps were there to start, including locations such as Cairo, Brooklyn, and Gibraltar. More maps were introduced later through seasonal updates, so there’s always a new thing to try out.
Single Player Campaign
Set in 2028, the story feels down-to-earth and real enough that I paid particular attention to the characters.
Story
The world is caught between a disillusioned NATO and a private military company labelled Pax Armata. The arising tensions between them create the central conflict.
Your Character
You take the part of a Marine Raider in the Dagger 1-3 unit. You are sent on missions to various locations, ranging from stealthy segments to noise-blaring firefights.
Inspiration Behind The Story
The studio had been inspired by modern war films and shows such as Lioness and Civil War. And you’d truly feel it via the style of directing the mission. You may also be interested in: Demeo x Dungeons & Dragons: Battlemarked Free Download for Windows PC
