Bean Beasts is a game in which you improve your little fighters, who grow stronger with every battle. Each beast can evolve three times, unlocking new attacks and abilities on each evolution phase. What makes it fun is that each beast has its own unique skill, allowing you to customize it differently according to your play style.
I got myself hooked on the tactical aspect of it: you not only fight your enemies but also set up the field. You can block paths with walls; you can set traps, and with the use of some summons, you can even join the fray while the battle is in progress. There are actually 12 different traps, which makes for a ton of fun because they can all be upgraded. Because each grows fresh each time with new setups, it gives such varied stimulation at all stages.
There is loads of content to beat in this game. You have 40 levels split across 5 zones, 8 definitely brain-twisting boss fights, and then endless maps where the idea is to see how long you can hold out. Every level completes the unlock of something new: a new beast, a trap, or some other sort of upgrade.
Likewise, the enemies are never monotonous. There are over 50 different kinds, each with its own tricks. Some deal with certain damage types, some render elemental attacks, others can inflict status conditions, and even fights will have some physics and gravity involved, like shoving foes into traps or knocking them down ledges by sending them hurtling about.
The art style, music, and sound effects further add to the game’s cool vibe. The easy start is for beginners, while the harder mode targets those who really want to give themselves a run. I played easy for just a while to grasp the anyways and then turned it up, finding it way more fun that way.

My Time Playing Bean Beasts
I played Bean Beasts on my old PC, and it ran fine. The game isn’t heavy at all, which I appreciated. Boss fights were my favorite, especially testing different trap setups. I still remember one fight where I lost almost all my health and pushed the boss into my last remaining trap- so satisfying! I also find myself going back to Endless mode whenever I want a quick run.
If you like strategy blended with action, Bean Beasts is worth the shot. It’s that type of game that you can just sit for a short session or git in for a long time, arranging and figuring out builds of beasts and traps. You may also be interested in: The Dead Await Free Download for Windows PC
