What is Deep Hell?
Now, imagine that you are just stuck in one of those super creepy woods where really bad things happen. People have been missing for years, and your brother also happens to be one of those who disappeared. Your job now is to find out what happened to him.
Your only clue is some strange notes he left with coordinates. You are, however, not alone out there. There’s something else in the woods, and it messes with anyone who stays too long.
No map, no hand-holding. Just a compass, your brother’s notes, and your memory. The woods are downright confusing, and honestly, everything starts to look the same after a while. Lose your concentration for one moment, and you’re finished.
The Tools You’ve Got
Whoever, or whatever, did this tried to hide it all well. But thankfully, you have a metal detector to dig for things that are buried and a shovel to dig them up. At times, it’s the most handy gear; at others, not so much. Be careful, some things shouldn’t be dug up.
That biofield detector? It freaks out when something is nearby. Your best bet? Stay away. Getting too close will result in you being turned into one of those other people.
The Mood & Gameplay
The atmosphere is completely unsettling. There you are, all alone in the darkness, with nothing but dangers surrounding you. There are some pretty cool mechanics involved, flare guns, signal scanning, and no map navigation. It’s not the longest game on earth, but it lingers on in memory.
