Structures placed adjacent to forests, rivers, or plains become profitable, allowing you to earn materials to propagate your domain and strengthen its defense. Clearing lines gives you a bonus, but the primary focus will have to be on resource accumulation in the long run, which is very important for armament and defense from enemy attacks against you.
