You begin setting up basic conveyor lines. Of course, I could never keep my belt arrangements neat during my first attempts, but it’s easy to get used to the snapping, and it works wonders. Honestly, the snapping feature is a godsend. Buildings will snap into place automatically, making everything smooth and efficient. Later, as I discovered when I finally had dozens of factories running, the importance of this feature really became apparent.
Everything comes in automation. It all begins when a miner, smelter, and assembler are connected by means of conveyor belts until they finally end up converting raw materials into high-tech products. As factories grow, new technologies are researched, and each step takes you closer to the goal of building a Dyson Sphere. For example, huge hard work is rewarded when your construction becomes a multitude orbited by a star around itself.
