I tried this game called Egging On, and it is super tougher than it looks. You play as a small egg that has to climb very high platforms while being very dependent on timing and patience. It sounds simple, but trust me, one wrong jump, and you will fall right back to the bottom. It is one of those types that will make you laugh and scream at the same time.
You control a tiny egg that feels super fragile. Every roll and jump has to work perfectly. The unique aspect is that the game has a cool physics system, which requires you to time the jump perfectly with the egg rolling. When you time it right, it goes high; otherwise, a minor mistake will break the egg, and you will have to start all over again. I had so many moments where I was close to making it to the top and kept falling down-it’s painful but funny.
The world has got fun and weird stuff: chainsaws are spinning about, some chickens try to block your path, and so many traps await everybody else. Every level has a distinct feel to it, along with introducing new challenges that make you rethink your play. It seems to test your patience and also to see how far you’ll go before losing it.
You can even make your egg fancy by unlocking new shells having some shiny, some are just silly, but all add a bit of fun to the all stress. There are hidden stamps to be found for collecting small prizes, too. It’s so satisfying to find one after much struggle. Just don’t fall right after getting it, since losing would hurt a lot in this game.
It is a good mix of action, adventure, and madness. The gameplay is like those rage games where you just have to keep playing because you won’t give up by dying. This is the real charm of Egging On: it keeps making you play again and again, saying, “Okay, maybe this time I’ll make it.”
