You’re the Eye of the Summoner in this game, which means you’ve become the most trusted intermediary of a dark overlord. The core of your task is pretty simple: defend your tower against invading waves of paladins that will hit your beacon’s flame. Summon and field an army of dark creatures to thump against feelings of impotence against the attackers. You’ll start with three unit types under your command:
Shielder: A unit designed to absorb damage, has high HP, and is slower than the other two unit types.
Scout: This fast unit is ideal for collecting gold, although it’s the weakest in a direct fight.
Blitzer: High damage output but lacks defensive capabilities, making them best used in groups.
Continue building your gold hoard, which will enable you to summon more units and recycle the remains of already dead minions to create even stronger ones. The endgame is to build an unstoppable force and crush the so-called heroes who dare challenge your dominion.
This is a dark fantasy defense game where you embrace the villain’s role, and it feels pretty good doing it.
