I just got to experimenting with Gladio Mori, and honestly, it is kind of fun. A cool and different experience, it is one of the physics-style fighting games where every swing means something, and every tiny mistake creates some major damage. It feels like actually battling in the arena with real blades. It’s fun when you play with yourself, but it gets infinitely crazier and more unpredictable when you have someone else or all the pockmarked faces from around the world that play the game with you. There was a moment when I stepped wrong and ended up having my character sliced at the side. Attacks became slower, and I knew something was wrong after that.
Multiplayer
Get stuck in online brawls with up to four players. I have played a few rounds with my cousins using local split screen, and we kept shouting at each other the whole time. Joining is easy; surviving is the hard part; one wrong block or move can leave you out fast. Winning even one match feels good because it depends a lot on timing and not just random button pressing.
Organ-Based Damage System
There is no normal health bar. Wherever you get hit, the game recognizes it and reacts with that.
Muscles hurt, and the effectiveness of your strikes goes down.
When you cut an artery, life drops much faster.
“When your vitals get hit, you die in one hit.”
That part felt so real. In one fight, he struck my leg, and after that, my movement slowed so much that I barely dodged anything. You have to think before you swing.
Weapons and Armor
Everything is genuine. Fantasy gear is not used here. Heavy plate armor is excellent for protection, but it still has weak points. I was just trying a whole bunch of different weapons to see how they feel. Some are quicker and weaker. Others are much slower but much stronger. It feels like the game wants you to learn real openings and not just rely on dumb luck. You may also be interested in: Of Ash and Steel Free Download (v1.03) for Windows PC
