Heretic: Shadow of the Serpent Riders
Three brothers called the Serpent Riders used their strong magic to take over the seven kings, throwing the land into war and chaos. But some elves called the Sidhe fought back and were called heretics. When they were about to lose, the Sidhe elders sacrificed themselves and their city to wipe out the kings and armies. As one of the few elves left, you go on a revenge quest against those who killed your people.
Heretic: Faith Renewed [NEW]
Years later, after D’Sparil’s influence was gone, a warrior looking for a place arrives in a new land and sees the bad signs of that old religion popping up again. In the walled city, serious followers on top of a big cathedral hear sad sounds from the streets as non-believers get taken away. D’Sparil’s shadow stays even after death. Taking up the Heretic role again, you head into the city to shut down the echoes of your enemy.
Hexen: Beyond Heretic
While elf Corvus fought D’Sparil’s forces, the other Serpent Riders messed up other worlds. As a Warrior, Mage, or Cleric, you fight undead and tough element dungeons to defend Cronos from Korax.
Hexen: Deathkings of the Dark Citadel
After beating Korax and finding the Chaos Sphere, you end up in the Realm of the Dead. Now undead and the Dark Citadel block your way home. Where Hexen ends, nightmares start.
