You play the puppet created by Geppetto, thrown into a world awash with lies. There are monsters everywhere, and nothing is what it seems. Every footfall in Krat, a city gone mad, has you doubting whom to trust and what is real.
A haunting voice awakens, pulling you through the nightmare. This is a soulslike game, and you are meant to die a lot, but each new battle teaches you something. Chaining weapons, mixed with colorful combat options offered by your Legion Arms, yield interesting results. The catch? You are forced to lie or tell the truth time and again, and every time, it means something.
A World That Is Beautiful Yet Cruel
Inspired by the Belle Époque era of fancy, now it is bloody and filled with broken puppets. The art style is beautiful, perhaps deceptively so. There is something deadly around every corner.
Fight with Anything You Can Grab
You are, by no means, limited to just the one weapon. The game permits you to experiment, combining blades with handles and abilities to fit your style. Some enemies, you learn quickly, will wreck you for being too slow, others for being too aggressive; figuring that out is half the fun.
Lie or Truth? You Decide
There are some emotionally agonizing choices. Some characters will be seen suffering, and lying will ease their distress, while others may be better off accepting the truth. There are no clear-cut good and bad choices, just what appeals to you.
Pinocchio but Not for Kids
