The first time I ever played Machick 2 Free Download (v1.0.8), I laughed at the idea of being a chicken with magic powers. But after a few runs, I was hooked. The action RPG and survival mechanics of the game kept you trying new builds every time.
Create your wand and design your own magical build in Machick 2. There’s really endless access to power mixing. Sometimes I just put spells on each other by chance, and it turns into crazy combinations, obliterating huge waves of frogs. It’s tossing hordes of frogs at you, and every single battle is essentially a miniature war.
Most of the time, I just love the fact that your chicken becomes really powerful, and its skills become bigger and more destructive. The power scaling becomes so crazy that your little chicken suddenly looks like a small god on the battlefield.
There are treasure chests scattered about the map. Inside are strange accessories from parallel universes. These can give random bonuses, alter how you attack, or be just intended to make your chicken look funny. In one of my games, an item completely flipped my playstyle, and this actually helped against a boss that gave me a little trouble beforehand.
And there is another new thing in the relic system added to it. You collect parts of sacred relics called Clucktheon. If you complete them, they get converted with special chicken powers, instantly crushing enemies. All that energy and effort would get to feel worth it when you finally collect all the pieces and then unleash it in battle.
Boss fights tend to be the real test for any player. They’re enormous, ferocious monsters, and they are not gentle in bringing you down. I remember one fight where I thought I was doomed, but my newly upgraded build had somehow carried me through. Feels good, really, when the game drives you to that extent.
