Overview of Marquee Candle
Marquee Candle is about being a heavenly intense bullet hell game where the girl, Zi Sheng, wakes up in a very strange dreamlike dimension. That place is beautiful, but dark and filled with so many ghosts, which are just horrible. They shoot out of their insane bullet patterns at you, so you gotta move fast, dash, jump, whatever keeps you alive.
The cool part? These flowers allow you to phase into ghostland for a sec. Suddenly, obstacles between you and your destination just vanish. Changed the way you play, really.
But it’s not just reflexes. The world is also filled with traps and puzzles, each needing different approaches. There are also memory fragments around for Zi Sheng to collect the four main ones and eight smaller ones. Each one strings you deeper into her background and that of the other girl she’s connected to in the story.
That’s all? Wonderful art style. original music that syncs up with the bullet patterns, making it feel almost rhythmic in dodging. Plus, if bullet hell games usually tear you apart, no worries, bring in those difficulty options to start at an easy level, then increase it as you gain confidence.
