When I installed Noobs Are Coming on my PC for the first time, I opened it just for a silly and fun name. After a few minutes, I found that it was really addictive. Noobs Are Coming has got arena-style roguelike gameplay with hints of Brotato and The Binding of Isaac. It feels simple at first, but then it becomes completely chaotic in a nice way in the deep advancement levels.
Some may say that the nice touch in this world is that you end up being the final boss. Everybody else is out to run away from bosses as you do in most games, but here you actually end up destroying everything by yourself. There are forty-three you can unlock, and every one of them feels different. I tried around ten characters in my first week, and each time it felt like a different game. There is also an interesting character merge option, which becomes really fun to try out some random combinations.
There are over seventy weapons and attacks in this game. Some are fairly normal; others get really odd, such as raising plant monsters using a watercanor and a cloud spell. Playing with plant builds felt like farming inside a fight that was strange but fun. If you like to try out new setups, then the 150 items will keep you busy because you are really into mixing everything in so many ways.
There are also one hundred thirty-four unlockables in the game, which I have not achieved even half of yet. Each run gives something new, so it doesn’t feel tedious. Strong replay value. I kept trying to make broken builds and see how far even those broken builds would allow me to go. Sometimes it just ends early; other times you feel like you’ve become unstoppable.
You can play the campaign alone or with some friends. It also supports Steam Remote Play Together, so you can share the screen with someone online. The four-player local co-op is also nice. I played along with my cousin, so when enemies rushed toward us, we kept shouting at one another. It becomes chaos, but it is entertaining chaos.
There are five difficulty levels in the game, plus the endless mode. The endless mode is killer because it just keeps on going, getting harder. The music in the game is pretty nice as well. Nothing heavy, but it fits the action. You may also be interested in: Clothing Store Simulator Free Download (v1.0) for Windows PC
