Team Up & Paint the Town (Literally): POPUCOM Free Download
POPUCOM is not your typical co-op platformer. In fact, within the first ten minutes of introducing it to your friends, you will find yourself yelling at them, not because they are terrible-but because the puzzles literally require your brains and coordination. You land on a weird planet, without orientation whatsoever, and suddenly you are juggling between abilities from artifacts, color mechanics, and an enemy who just couldn’t care less if you are still figuring things out.
Why the Color Mechanic Slaps
Most games would use color as an aesthetic feature. Not this one. POPUCOM is your weapon, key, and sometimes, your biggest headache. Need to open a door? Good luck with trying to match the right color. Your enemies are weak to purple? Hope your teammate is paying attention. The Pomu gel shooting feels oddly satisfying: a blend of Splatoon and a puzzle game, but with way more yelling.
Things get crazy with the artifacts. Barrier Bot saved my team more times than I’d like to admit, but Captain Kitty? That little furball’s sneaky dash move is borderline OP.
