Develop your skills in this turn-based survival game with players sitting opposite each other across the table, popping pills which can result in saving or killing the patient. I got really nervous while trying it out for the first time because you really do not know what the next pill will do. Some pills help you; some hurt you, and some can take the game for all. The surefire goal? Just outlive your rival.
Resistance
Popping pills changes your resistance. You check your resistance: once the counter hits zero, you are done. This is something I learned on my first trial. Random pills went in, and then-boom-my resistance hit nothing, and I ended up losing. Hence, from thereafter, I force myself to remain calm and really ponder any single thing I pick.
Experiment
Every round, you get to pick some experimental tools or treatments. These might confer you a light advantage. From using vaccines to mouth clamps that change the way you deal with a pill, all of these options are fun to try. I like messing about with items since each one feels like another way to help you last slightly longer.
You aren’t alone
There is always another patient sitting across from you. He also wants to last longer than you. He bluffs. He changes his mind. He uses whatever item he gets. There was one match when the other player was pretending to be losing, and just when he was about to bite the dust, he played a card and survived. It was stressful in a fun way.
