What Is Sol Cesto All About?
In Sol Cesto, you delve deep into a randomly generated underground world in search of a sun long lost to its searchers since time immemorial. Simple yet very tense, you choose one of the four rows, and the game drops you at a random tile in that row. Up could be a monster, down could be a treasure chest, or even a poison trap. No knowing until you have landed.
Oh, the choice. With a few seconds to think, do you risk moving forward or play it safe? As you dive deeper, your character becomes more powerful, gaining magic items, special abilities, and perhaps a few nasty curses that stack the odds. This one is heavy on strategy and a bit on luck.
What is in the Early Access Version?
Sol Cesto is in ongoing development, and this is what looks like a lot to sink your teeth into:
3 biomes to explore, each with its unique monsters and traps (5 planned for full release)
4 playable characters with different stats and skills (8 to follow in due time)
Stone teeth that alter the game’s rules for your benefit
Metal teeth that unleash ruthless curses and combos
Loads of items that help you stay alive (or escape when the going gets tough)
Strange underground NPCs, some helpful, some not so much
