First, it is important to understand that different people actually perceive situations differently. To be specific, it consisted mainly of the game itself and the memories it reawakens when I first played SpongeBob SquarePants Titans of the Tide for PC: pretty cool, actually, because the game’s funny ambiance reminds me of what I used to enjoy watching on TV. It starts with the Flying Dutchman and King Neptune having an altercation, which causes chaos in Bikini Bottom. Ghosts harass everyone everywhere while weird things happen on SpongeBob and Patrick’s to fix everything again.
I liked how you can switch back and forth between SpongeBob and Patrick at any time. It’s smooth, and both have their own tricks. Patrick has even got a couple of new moves, really good grappling and digging, which helped me through some levels. It is easy to follow and feels like an extended episode, with a lot of exploration.
Then there is also proper voice acting by the original cast, which makes it feel genuinely real. I personally liked visiting places like Neptune’s Palace or Mount Bikini. Some boss fights were pretty challenging the first time, like Flying Dutchman and Neptune, but not impossible at all.
Some nice extra fun from it.
