When I first played Tattletail, I didn’t think it would be so creepy. It is one of those types of games that seem fun at first, but give a weird feeling-the vibe that something is watching. If you’re a ’90s kid, you’ll know right away what I’m talking about. It’s got that really nostalgic virtual pet feel with a slightly darker spin.
Tattletail Game Overview
It is a brief first-person horror game where you take care of a talking toy on Christmas Eve. You opened your Tattletail early, and now it won’t shut up. Keeping it cheerful until Christmas without waking Mama Tattletail is what it is destined for. It seems so simple: Waking up Mama is difficult.
The bottom line is that more feeding, grooming, and charging are taking place. And at every sound, Mama comes closer. I used to shake the flashlight way too much to charge it, and suddenly I heard footsteps. I froze for a good few seconds.
Things Needed to Do
Manage Tattletail through feeding, brushing, and recharging.
Listen loud enough to get caught.
Keep your flashlight charged, but shake it only when needed.
Most importantly, don’t wake Mama Tattletail.
It is not merely about jump scares. There’s a gradual buildup in the tension, which is part of what makes it quite exciting and frightening at the same time.

I played this and found it very exciting because it took me back to my childhood, where most toys had sweet voices and could never keep shut.
