The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Legendary Edition is a complete collection of the famous RPG game from Bethesda Game Studios. It includes the original Skyrim plus all of the additional content to include Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn. When I first installed it all those years ago on my old Windows 7 slum, I was pleasantly surprised by how much one could actually do in this one game. It was not just the missions, but hours could be spent roaming the lands and gaining entry into all the new places.
Open World Adventure
The best part about Skyrim is that it gives you freedom. You need not follow one linear storyline. You build your own character and choose what kind of life you shall lead in the game. Once, I made a mage, focused entirely on just learning spells, and didn’t care to bother with swords. Another time, I played a thief, evading the main quests, going around stealing from shops. The freedom therein is what makes Skyrim Legendary Edition a great joy.
Graphics and World Environment
Skyrim has its age, but the world still feels alive. You get the snowy peaks, dark caves, villages with NPCs going about their daily chores, and ruins that appear ancient. I still remember walking through a forest at night with just the moonlight, and the spirits gave me shivers.
Character Progression and Choices
Skyrim Legendary Edition gives you loads of skills, weapons, and abilities. Every time you use a skill, you grow in it. Your strength improves when you keep swinging a sword. Your magic grows whenever you keep casting fireballs. This was the kind of system I liked, where one doesn’t need to plan that much, just play around, and let their character grow naturally for whatever they do.
Dragons in Skyrim
And dragons are probably the most exciting part of Skyrim. The first time I fought a dragon, I honestly thought I was going to die; it looked so huge and powerful! But after a glorious victory, I earned my dragon shout and became empowered with abilities and skills that could never be found anywhere else. No two dragon fights feel the same, and it just injects such adrenaline into the game.

Why I Recommend Skyrim Legendary Edition
If you are an RPG fan, then this game is one of the best choices. It has a long storyline, but also gives you an option to carve a path of your choice. I would spend whole weekends wandering through caves and looking for rare items rather than advancing further into the main story.
