Adult monsters gain experience in the arena and pass inherited abilities or gain new ones. Every species, whether mammal, reptile, or insect, has some kind of trait worth having. Improve your collection by launching hazardous yet potentially lucrative expeditions in search of rare species. Some traits are passed down through crossbreeding, while certain traits may be randomized, subject to luck, with the offspring taking after some of the parents.
